Kara Fick

Kara Fick leads all Patient Advocacy efforts globally at Reata Pharmaceuticals and champions a system of transparency and collaboration between industry and advocacy. In her role, she has developed and led new strategic partnerships with over a dozen patient advocacy groups across multiple therapeutic areas and has built the patient advocacy function from the ground up. Kara brings a set of diverse insights gained from her experience in many facets of the drug development process – including clinical operations, medical affairs, and commercial/marketing. She earned her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences with a focus in Neuroscience from Texas A&M University.
